Inflatable Mascots Capture Hearts on Parade Floats
The Bell of the Ball for Sure, "Mardi" Made Her Debut at the 2008 Mardi Gras on Main Street Parade in Deland, Florida
Sponsored yearly by Krewe of Amalee, this event features parade floats, dogs and people all dressed in festive Mardi Gras attire.
According to Pam Rintz, Chairwoman of the Mardi Gras on Main Street committee, "Krewe of Amalee is a ladies' carnival organization. Our purpose is to support the Museum of Florida Art and the Sands Theater at the Cultural Arts Center in DeLand." To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they enlisted Landmark Creations to help "whelp" a new inflatable mascot pup, "Mardi."
With proceeds going to assist with youth arts programs through the museum, Mardi Gras on Main Street has made quite an impact on its community. The sheer enjoyment of dressing up and watching parade floats go by is something kids of all ages enjoy. Thanks to the sponsorship opportunities "Mardi" brings, they should be able to raise even more in years to come.
Inflatable mascots can be "outfit" with a number of sponsor-laden gear including vests, collars, beads, hats and banners. Selling sponsorships on the "Mardi" parade float will allow the committee to quickly recoup its investment.
Why Landmark? According to Rintz, "After researching several companies, we found them to be the most helpful and easy to work with. We would recommend Landmark to anyone." That's what we love to hear!

What Others Say About Landmark Creations
“This has created tremendous buzz around town and we have received a great deal of compliments on the Big Tire. Exposure is my goal, and the inflatable does that better than anyone, including me, can do at these events. The Big Tire never takes a break, gets tired or has to take a call. It just keeps shining bright and the kids love it.”
- Ed Chaney, Ed Chaney Tire Center Inc.

I appreciate your attention to our group of Sonics and for handling your business in a very professional manner, always delivering any information I need when making a decision.
