Floating Museum 'The Garden'

Product: L7633

These custom inflatable sculptures are part of the Floating Museum’s installation ‘The Garden’, a collaboration with Kushala Vora featured at Expo Chicago 2023. ‘The Garden’ project is intended to start conversations and showcase performances about the movement of people and plants. The inflatable sculptures are designed to represent the role of plants in shaping the world and how they have affected ecological change, colonialism, capitalism, and violence. The project focuses on exploring the themes of diaspora, improvisation, and creating a space for musicians and performers. The sculpture and platform transform into a performance series at night, and docents engage the public during the day. The project aims to create a pluralistic approach to monumentality by blurring the lines between dialogic platform, sculpture, and performance. What Others Say About Landmark Creations

“This has created tremendous buzz around town and we have received a great deal of compliments on the Big Tire. Exposure is my goal, and the inflatable does that better than anyone, including me, can do at these events. The Big Tire never takes a break, gets tired or has to take a call. It just keeps shining bright and the kids love it.”

- Ed Chaney, Ed Chaney Tire Center Inc.

"This year’s event was the highest attended in some time, and the [inflatable] astronaut, front and center on our Portico, was a great visible draw from all over the area."

- Dennis Bateman, Carnegie Science Center

"I was especially impressed with your ability to turn around such excellent work on very short notice, and at a fair price."

- R. Stever-Zeitlin, General Mills

“The huge cereal bag could be seen from anywhere and was a nice draw to gather people to the tents we had set up.”

- Anika Hage, WatersMolitor

"Our tunnel was also a great addition to our pre-game tradition: the Wildcat walk. Our city shuts down three blocks of downtown, and we have hundreds of fans lining the streets with a police escort, while we walk to the stadium."

- Sam Baker, Head Football Coach at Waconia High School

“The inflatable finish arch looked fantastic! Local media was also there filming, so photos and videos of our race were viewed by many with our logo front and center.”

- David Parker, Pacific Road Runners Club
